Protein Pancakes

Pancakes at the weekend is just such a comfort feeling for me.

Therefore I have this easy pancake recipe with only three ingredients. It is high in protein, easy to make and definitely very tasty over all.


Something great about pancakes is, you can top it with everything you like. For me it is always some kind of fruit and coconut flakes and chocolate chips. Sometimes I do sliced almonds or nuts in general. But you can take whatever you feel like or you have at home.


To reduce the amount of calories I recommend to just take some fruit as a topping. To increase calories on one hand you can upper the amount of ingredients but bump a lot of different toppings on top. For example: chocolate chips, cocnut flakes, peanut butter, maple sirup/ honey, sliced almonds.


The basic recipe without any toppings has 544kcal, 54g carbs, 28g protein and 21g fat.


Ingredients (dough):
  • 10g flax seeds

  • 2 eggs

  • 60g oat flour (or alternative)


Cooking Instructions:
  1. Seperate the egg whites and put in a bowl. Whisk the egg white until fluffy. Sweeten with sweetener or flave drops. Add the egg yolks, oats and flax seeds. Let everything sit for 2-5 min.

  2. Heat up some butter/ margarine in a pan and add the dough. Cook on one side until you see small bubbles and then flip. Repeat until the dough is fully done.
